Cocobolo is a mid-sized, sub-canopy tree, reaching 45 to 60 feet in height in the natural rainforest. Poorly formed stems yield the most uniquely figured and highly-prized wood. Because of its great beauty and high value, Cocobolo is extremely rare. One of the true tropical rosewoods, it is fine textured and oily in look and feel. Cocobolo is highly durable and strong, but, because of its scarcity and high value, it is used for its rare beauty as much as its strength and durability.
All Xi cutters are the same ring gauge: they will cut a 54 ring gauge cigar in half. Depending on how much cap you cut, they will cut up to a 58 ring gauge cigar. * Engrave your cutter! XIKAR offers extremely high-quality 600 dpi laser name-engraving of up to 16 characters. Additional cost is only $15 per unit.
