Trafalgar Limited Edition It's a Global Market Braces |
Notes:
To wear stunning silk braces is a luxury to be sure, so we recommend you treat your silk carefully. As a natural material, it is best not to wear repeatedly for several days running -- but instead to give the silk time to "rest" or regain its shape -- not stretching or taxing the weave in any one direction for too long of a period. Also, when silk braces are folded in a suitcase, the silk may crease, but when hung out, the natural resilience enables it to uncrease.
All silks are fairly delicate, reacting adversely to many solutions which may stain, including water. The best recommendation for cleaning Limited Editions is to treat spots on an individual basis -- never attempting to wash the entire brace at one time. When you get a spot on your braces, try to tend to it immediately to prevent setting. First, blot the stain gently with an absorbent paper towel. Never rub a stain as it will only imbed further into silk. Then, if necessary, spot clean by using only cold water and a very mild soap solution. You may want to test the colorfastness of your particular pair of braces with a small area on the back. Not all silks are completely colorfast when wet. Work the fabric with your fingers while shifting very gently on the diagonal. Do not rub with another brush or cloth.
Note that you should avoid the use of any pre-treatment stain removal products as they are too harsh for the silk. We do not recommend dry cleaning.
Finally, do not steam iron your silk braces as the water may leave marks. If using a dry iron, place a cloth between the iron and the braces.

The modern gentleman notices the little things, and there is plenty to notice about our Signature Gift Wrap. The paper is a custom-printed navy beaded pinstripe pattern evocative of a classic men's suit fabric. The white satin ribbon is tied in a square knot. But we think it's the enclosure card sealed with hot wax that shows we put as much care into the gift presentation as you put into its selection.
