The SkyDome became the new home of the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday, June 5, 1989. Since its opening, this retractable roof marvel has been considered one of the world's most advanced and luxurious ballparks. A hit from its conception, the SkyDome has been the site of one All-Star game ('91), two World Series ('92, '93), and set all-time American League Attendance records four years in a row ('90-'93). And you can even spend the night there if you're so inclined by staying at it's 348 room hotel, 70 of which overlook the playing field. A jewel of a stadium.
