In 1930, Lucien Tissot Dupont, son of Simon Tissot Dupont, invented an exclusive tanning process using genuine diamond powder which spectacularly improved the resistance of leather whilst enhancing it with lustre and depth. As a result, these incredibly resilient Diamond cases and wallets were taken across continents, successfully resisting the damage usually caused by impacts, bad weather, heat, and humidity.

Today, S.T. Dupont has revived this exceptional process, reinterpreting it for a revolutionary new line of leather goods launched under the name: Diamond Leather. Even when subjected to more than 100,000 torsions and 10,000 instances of water-exposure, this leather does not deteriorate, tear or fade.
