The clean stylish lines of the contemporary SQ Series Globes have both a formal and designer look to them. The beautifully fashioned hardwood bases are finished with a deep black lacquer. Consistent with Spherical Concepts' hand-crafted tradition, these models are elegant and functional in their combining of hand turned wood and acrylic materials. Expertly silk-screened white land masses, opaque black oceans, silver latitude and longitude markings, and gold nomenclature give the SQ Onyx Earthsphere a formal appearance with modern design. Each sphere presents the most up-to-date cartography with countries, capitals, and major cities, bodies of water, latitude and longitude markings and more. Overall height of these 12 inch diameter spheres are 38 inches for floor stand and 15 inches for the desk top model. Each comes complete with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity, as well as an informative booklet.
