Michael Dixon Lightning Bolt Movingue Humidor

Movingue is an exotic wood found in West Africa, and often referred to as Satinwood (or Nigerian Satinwood) because it takes on the look of satin. It is usually light yellow in color with interlocking grains that gives it an intense lustrous figure. Movingue is hard and heavy, but is considered rather easy to work with...especially when you're a craftsman like Michael Dixon.

Since 1973 Michael Dixon has been successfully combining his talents in design and wood craftsmanship to produce his widely-admired line of solid hardwood cigar humidors.They are built from the finest grade of domestic and imported hardwoods and veneers (see catalog), where all wood joints are lock mitered to withstand high internal moisture content over extended periods of time.

The interiors are Spanish cedar-lined and contain dividers and trays to hold from 20 to 100 cigars. The finest brass hinges, locks and handles are used, and all are attractively recessed. Each humidor contains a Humigar for regulating interior humidity and a hygrometer to measure it.

Michael Dixon Humidors come in three sizes:
The Model A holds 35 cigars and measures 9"x11"x4", with one divider and a small humigar control.
The Model B holds 50 cigars, has one divider, medium humigar control, and measures 10 X 13 X 5".
The Model C holds 100 cigars and measures 11"x16"x6.5". It has two dividers, an analog hydrometer with large humidor control, and comes with a lock and key set.
