Michael Dixon Brazilian Rosewood Humidor |
Brazilian Rosewood (grown in Brazil in case it isn't obvious) has been esteemed for centuries as one of the finest woods in the world for high-class furniture, cabinetry, and paneling. In fact, it sometimes goes by the nickname Pianowood because of its use in high-end pianos. Of course, it has also been used for knife handles, brush backs, bowls, musical instrument fingerboards, billiard tables, marquetry, and carving, but no one yet calls it "Knife Handle-wood". Maybe someday.
Since 1973 Michael Dixon has been successfully combining his talents in design and wood craftsmanship to produce his widely-admired line of solid hardwood cigar humidors. They are built from the finest grade of domestic and imported hardwoods and veneers (see catalog), where all wood joints are lock mitered to withstand high internal moisture content over extended periods of time. |

The modern gentleman notices the little things, and there is plenty to notice about our Signature Gift Wrap. The paper is a custom-printed navy beaded pinstripe pattern evocative of a classic men's suit fabric. The white satin ribbon is tied in a square knot. But we think it's the enclosure card sealed with hot wax that shows we put as much care into the gift presentation as you put into its selection.
