This 1-1/2" elegant strap is hand made from saddle tanned American Alligator. Over decades of travel to the most unique andspecialized tanneries, Martin Dingman has deemed this rare exotic as the finest, most sought after leather world wide. American alligator is not endangered, as it is protected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department and harvested exclusively by licensed hunters and alligator farmers along the gulf coast. Equestrian saddle leather is used for the lining of these straps. This handsome material is extremely durable and will continue to soften and patina with age. The tannery Martin Dingman employs uses eco-friendly organic materialsin the production of this timeless leather.
The Devereaux matte alligator strap has a classic, stitched feather edge construction, with hand stained edges and holes. The solid brass, gun metal finish hardware is hand sewn to the strap.
