On September 27, 1930, Bobby Jones accomplished the seemingly impossible. He had won all four of the major tournaments in the same year -- the British Amateur at St. Andrews, the British Open at Hoylake, the U.S. Open at Interlachen and now the U.S. Amateur at Merion. Jones' walk back to the clubhouse was described by New York Times writer William Richardson as "the most triumphant journey that any man ever traveled in sport."

This historic 11"x14" black and white photograph is available framed or unframed in black and double matted with silver accents and an engraved brass title plate. When framed outside dimensions are 18"x22".
