Bobby Jones Autographed Photograph |

The United States Open. The Open Championship (now familiarly known as the British Open). The U.S. Amateur Championship. The British Amateur Championship. In 1930, these four tournaments made up the majors of the era - and before retiring at the age of 28, Bobby Jones conquered them all.
Jones was widely known to be quite a hot-tempered golfer, but perhaps that temper is what drove him to be the best golfer of his time. This Atlanta-born, Harvard graduate possessed the fundamentals and skills that would be emulated for decades to come by golfers on the PGA Tour, as well as the Sunday hackers on the local ranges. This beautiful cherry-wood, ebonized framed wall hanging, depicting the legendary Bobby Jones, measures 40" x 22-1/2". Inset in the piece is a black-and-white 9" x 7" photograph, of a reclining Jones, boldly inscribed in blue fountain pen, "For Alan Abrams - With Best Wishes, Bob Jones" (grading "10"). Surrounding the apparent Near Mint photo are two triple-matted magazine reprints of Jones from Time and Golf Digest. Below the photograph rests an etched plaque, "Robert T. Jones - Grand Slam Champion." Gentlemen worldwide certainly have a place on their walls to display golf's premier innovator and ambassador of the 20th Century. Letter of authenticity from James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA. Please allow at least 5 days for the framing of any golf photography. |

The modern gentleman notices the little things, and there is plenty to notice about our Signature Gift Wrap. The paper is a custom-printed navy beaded pinstripe pattern evocative of a classic men's suit fabric. The white satin ribbon is tied in a square knot. But we think it's the enclosure card sealed with hot wax that shows we put as much care into the gift presentation as you put into its selection.
