Dunhill

In 1893, a 21 year old Alfred Dunhill took over his father Henry's saddlery business and converted it into a maker of superlative accessories — think heavy leather coats, volt meters, and air horns — for the then-new motor car. In the early 1920's, he expanded the firm's offerings to include non-automotive luxuries, like stationary and cocktail sets. By the late 1970's, Dunhill had expanded into the apparel market, and firmly established its reputation as one of the world's foremost purveyors of traditionally-minded English luxuries.
