Anybody that has ever written or received a hand-written thank you note knows just how powerful it can be. In this day and age, people willing to take the 2 minutes to write a personal note are few and far between. People doing it on their own personalized stationery is fewer and farther.
Every New Year's Day, grandma would implore us grandkids to write thank you notes, and for the most part we failed miserably. Perhaps it was a generational thing. Now that we're older and wiser, we understand the gesture. But given that 99% of all the stationery out there is feminine in nature, or neutral at best, we decided we should design "stationery for men".
And when we asked the modern gentleman if we should use offset printing or a letterpress, he laughed as though there was no argument. Those that appreciate a craftsman and his/her art would settle for nothing less than letterpress.
While we have designed a number of icons that appeal to men who like to golf, hunt, sail, play tennis, drink wine, smoke cigars, or gamble, there is nothing we love more than getting a request for something new and unique that represents that gentleman's sensibilities. Pictured above is our founder's latest When you're ready for something you're own, give us a shout.
