Green is the New Black

Go to a newsstand right now and you'd think every magazine is a fashion critic claiming that Green is the IT color. Everywhere you look you see a "Green Issue" focused on the environment. Vanity Fair did one. So did Fortune and Wired to name a few. We're sure there are other magazines putting on the finishing touches of a Green Issue that will, by the time they're off the press, seem trite.

Don't get us wrong -- we're all for preserving the environment. We are very diligent about recycling, especially when it comes to reusing packaging material given the number of boxes we ship and receive.We saw An Inconvenient Truth. Heck, we even really liked this blog from the always-controversial Bill Maher. There really are little things that each of us can do to minimize our impact on the planet.

So it was only natural (pun intended) for us to want to promote a "green line" of products from leather goods designers, Morgan Grays.

The new Malibu line made primarily of Cotton Canvas is a hardcore effort to create a line of environmentally friendly accessories. The exterior of all of the bags is 100% organic cotton treated with eco-friendly water repellents. The leather accents are vegetable-dyed which is considered much cleaner than traditional chrome-dyeing processes.

We're just glad we can now say we have some "green" products other than just golf shirts & ties that come in the color green.
