Is there anything Bono can't do? Musician. Activist. Knight. New York Times Op-Ed contributor. 

I'm not sure what the purpose of today's piece was exactly. It reminded me of the collapse of the Irish economy which was profiled by the NYT Business Section last Sunday. It made me think about the new year. It reminded me that Miles Davis was a very cool cat. As was Sinatra. And that perhaps I should look into his "Duets" album. 

That said, the editorial was particularly interesting to me for a couple reasons. I'll state my case, of which I'm certain: 

1. "My Way" has been my go-to karaoke song of late (not saying I sing it well);
   
2. I have told my parents that I want "My Way" played at my funeral. It's now mentioned here as well in case they forget;
3. In the process of moving things to my new laptop last year, I lost my pirated copy of "My Way" and lived without it for almost a year before finally purchasing it from iTunes just a couple weeks ago. Balance has been restored to my world.
