It is not often that we would send our devoted readers somewhere else to buy something. Our mission is to be the "one-stop shop" for the modern gentleman, so theoretically we should sell everything we believe our customers need. But this particular product seems so important that we don't want to wait until we carry it. It's like we're telling you you have something stuck in your teeth.  

Recently, a new friend of the store dropped off some samples from a new grooming line called Ritual. Now, we're pretty satisfied with the lines we carry, but we're always open-minded. One product in particular intrigued us: Ritual's Razor Rinse. The basic premise is that staph bacteria collect on your razor and that is the cause of razor bumps. We had always been led to believe that it was the result of using inferior products, be it shave cream, a razor, or a blade used one too many times.  

So we put the Razor Rinse to the test by using an older blade that probably still had a shave or two in it, but which, in the past, we would have thrown away knowing that it would likely cause razor burn. Sure enough, a little dab of Razor Rinse applied to the blade prior to shaving resulted in a pleasant shave with absolutely no irritation. So not only was the shave itself pleasurable, but it squeaked out at least one extra shave from that blade. At $4+ per Mach 3 blade these days, that's $100s a year in savings!
