After carrying the product for 3+ years now, the uncertainty around the direction of the brand in the future has resulted in our decision to discontinue the brand. We have no idea what, if any, changes P&G will make to the product or distribution, there is no shortage of high-end men's grooming brands on the market, and we hope to expand our assortment in the future.

So...we have a little bit of inventory left to dispose of, and we wanted our faithful Alerts subscribers to hear about this first: there is a "hidden" promotion on the site right now that will get you 15% off any 3 products from The Art of Shaving. This is our first confessional Brand News post. When we started the Gift with Purchase promotion of the Truefitt & Hill Moisturizing Hand & Body Soap with orders over $75, we suspected the product would eventually be discontinued. Of all the great products Truefitt & Hill makes -- and all of them are top quality -- the Hand & Body soap has been one of their most addictive. People that try it come back and buy them by the half-dozen. 

Our hope was that with the enormous sales we have generated for that single product, we might be able to save it. Alas, that appears not to be the case. Word has come down that the Moisturizing Hand & Body Soap will be discontinued, and we have one last shipment coming in. If you got one and liked it, best to stock up now (and by now, we mean in the next couple of days).

At long last, Truefitt & Hill's very popular Pre-Shave Oil has returned from backorder, along with their newly packaged Hair Pomade (the photo is still of the old packaging but that will be fixed soon). 

Unfortunately, a few of their other Hair products are now or soon to be on backorder, including most of their Shampoos and their Replenishing Conditioner. New stock may not be available until the new year, but we'll try to keep you updated.

In addition, Bath Soaps are also making a return, although we have not seen what form they are taking yet. While not official yet, fans of the Moisturizing Hand & Body Soap should probably consider stocking up soon. There is a possibility that product will be discontinued in the near future.
